OK here is the lowdown on my car and mods to achive 14.2 qtr .

80 rocco with Passat 2.0 16v untouched and burning lots of oil
stock timing and fueling parameters
NO ac or ps
scirocco 16v conversion parts
TT race dp and exhaust
Autotech feul enrichment
H&R springs tokico Illuminas set on 5 at drags 
45 psi rear 15", 22 psi front 14" BFG street tires(not DOT drag ones)
Poly bushes on complete suspension , Motorsport rear trans. mount , TT front
rear jacked up one inch from lowered with custom lower shock mounts
Zender style front spoiler , Kamei rear
200 MPH tape over entire grille and lights , on A pillars and over cowl vent
side mirrors and wiper removed
1860 lbs W/O driver and only driver seat 
126 HP to the wheels
Total investment less than $2000 , total fun factor immeasurable
