Exhust repair

Well they just discontinued emissions testing down here. Yahooooooo.  And 
just one month before I have to go for the test too.  TT non cat down pipe 
hear I come.  I have a question about this though.  I noticed there is no 
flex joint on this. Without the flex joint will I have a problem with it 
cracking or causing other damage like to the manifold and stuff?  Anybody 
have this on their car?  Later all
