Re: 16v conversion HELL.
Jim,
I have this conversion in my 81 Scirocco. I used the non-a/c bracket and my
original 81 radiator. Then I custom cut an upper radiator hose (I think I
used a diesel Rabbit hose) to fit. I use a long pulley on my 90 amp
alternator plus a couple of extra spacers. The water pump pulley I run
backwards and everything lines up. I'm not running power steering or a/c.
