If it _is_ lack of spark you may have a problem with the hall Sender as
well. In my experience the CPU won't go bad unless you kill them, but
the dist is down there with all the heat and vibration.
Check it out, lack of signal means sparkless cranking.
PS- Verify the computer grounds are connected.
