I worked in a warehouse that used ammonia as a refrigerant. Just because the
refrigerant is dangerous, doesn't mean you can't use it. You just have to
make sure your WHOLE system is top notch. If everything is up to snuff, then
there's nothing to worry about. Now if you have old cracked hoses, that's
different...
