RE: VAG cd

VAG is the "Volkswagen-Audi Gruppe" (sorry if my German spelling is a little
rusty). The CD is basically the on-line version of all the microfiche that
they use at the parts counter, so it has all the exploded diagrams of every
part on the car with all the part numbers. The version I have has all the
VW's and some other stuff through 1994 or something like that.

I've found that it isn't *always* reliable for the part number, since VW
sometimes discontinues a part or changes the number, but it sure is helpful
to have the diagrams as an addition to the Bentley, and to know what the guy
at the parts counter is going to be looking for. And then, of course,
there's the thrill of imagining your Passat with a roof-mounted machine
gun...

I could burn 'ya a copy for postage and a blank CD.
