Ahhh...isnt carb cleaner extremely flammable? I would spary it anywhere but
into the carb or intake boot while the engine is running...then again..i may
be on crack.

Spray very strong carb cleaner around the engine while it's running.  Any
vacuum leaks will kill the engine very quickly.

Probably something ignition-related.  Check distributor, wires, and plugs.
