You are going to get a lot of responses on this one I'm sure, but here's my
opinion.  As far as off the shelf stuff I would use Chevron's Techron and
if you are lucky enough to live in a  state that has Chevrons, use the gas
too  since it contains the additive. My favorite though, but I have never
seen it in a store, is Lubro Moly's Jectron and Ventil Sauber.  I have used
these and seriously noticed a difference.  I don't know if the list vendors
sell Lubro Moly products or not, but last I knew GPR did.  Good luck.
