I have had this fear as well.  A small part of me thinks that every person
wants to steal my car, but you also have to realize that most thieves are
going to be more interested in the newer A3's and A4's.  Just do what I do,
after you finish removing all the wheels and the car is supported in jack
stands, set the alarm and roll your wheels into the hotel room.  I'm not
trying to hack on your car Andre', but hopefully the thought of other cars
which are also desirable for parts in the near vicinity will have a calming
effect (on all of us).
