SV: (non roc) Turboing an 8v Golf
Hi

And how low compression? About 9:1 is a nice number too begin with, higher if you don't intend too boost soo much and lower if you want to build a "call of the wild" motor with incredible power.

???
A small valve head works as good as a big valve head in a normal output power application, +200 hp is no limit in the head.

Will not be the same power, but easier.

Only about boosting? I thought I know my shit when it comes too all parts of Sciroccos except AC (at least not yet) and how too build cellular phones (water, dust and shock proof).
The trick with boosting is having a nice working fuel system, it don't have too be EFI but some add on fuel or bigger system is needed.
Second is too use a very modern design turbo and intercooler, the money spent will repay themselves.
