HELP! DAMN! HELP! BROKEN STUD!
Ok, well, ran into a little snag on my 81 S.
One of the rear a-arm mount studs was rather rusty. After soaking,
coaxing, sweating, swearing, etc. The stud decieded to break off. S*%T!
Anyone have experience with one of these particular studs? Is it a stud
threaded into the body? OR is it a bolt welded from the other side. How
do I get to the other side? Through the driver footwell? F*$K ME this
SUCKS SERIOUS ASS.
Someone please let me know, I have access to a plasma cutter and welding
equipment, I just need to know the best way to go about fixing this major
boo boo.
