You will not be disappointed! Expect to have a really fun time with us.

Don't underestimate the trip, its a long haul. This is why going in a
caravan is so appealing. Its fun to trek with others, safety in numbers
and if you plan ahead and get a walkabout radio, you can chat along the
way. Makes the drive easier, faster and overall alot more fun.
When we caravan from SoCal up north, we all have the radios which makes
communicating not only possible but, and at times necessary.
Last year was a blast (Especially when I didn't have my radio on the
right code. I could hear, but not broadcast. FUNNY!) talking about the
other cars as we passed them or got passed. HWY 1 proved to be not only
popular but in some areas, tricky and without the radios, we ALL might of
ended up in the back of a truck that was in the process of helping out
some poor sap in a MK-I Scirocco who ended up in the ditch. (My rule of
thumb is on twisty roads; "Drive moderate and you will be safe, drive
hard on unfamiliar roads and end up in a ditch.) Also planning stops ect.
The radios are an important part of the trip for most of us and for the
$79 they cost, well worth every penny.
I think its fair to say that channel 5, code 5 is what we always use.
Easy to remember.
Anyways, hopefully more people will see what a great event this will be
and participate. Come one, come all, just COME!
