2 dayd for you maybe. It was 3 -hard charging- days to get from San Diego
to New York. I would of never made it in time for Waterfest if I didnt
pick up a co-driver in Colorado! Solo, it would of taken me 4 days
easily. 
If you do this trip, bring someone with you, it WILL make the trip easier
and save on the trip time.
