'74 Chevy 1/2 ton for sale
I am selling my black truck. Anyone who has seen it can tell you
how much of a peach it is (decoded- "what a piece of crap").
'74 Chevy 1/2 ton
160,000 miles
350 V80- runs solid, does not burn oil
3-speed on the floor with short shift kit (comes with original
shifter)
Rusted rocker panels and cab supports (have new pieces, just need to
be welded in)
Bed rusted bad (nothing a heavy bed liner can't fix)
Bell housing craked (have another one)
New 2-barrel Rochester carburator
New Monroe lifetime shocks
Dual exhaust good
Tires are in good shape with nice shiny hubcaps (two spares)
Asking $450, but that is very negotiable.
I pickup my new pickup(haha what a pun) (a '78 1-ton) Monday, and
need to get the '74 out of my driveway.
Needs a clutch and some TLC, but is usable. Could be a good tow
vehicle for a low budget racer or someone who needs to haul plywood,
drywall, mulch, or dirt. I've only put 6,000 miles on it in the 3
years I've owned it. I've hauled my Scirocco on a tow dolly several
times without a problem.
