RE:  Redoing the rear bumper with POR:

After refinishing with the rust convertor, consider slapping some paint 
on there to prolong its life before rust wakes up again.  Ferrous oxide 
dripping down onto a S STeel tailpipe will also corrode (BTDT).  So don't 
forget the towing eye above the tailpipe.
