Hey everyone,
Went and checked under the front end more thoroughly yesterday and DID find that my left inner CV boot had a small rip in it. Patched it with duct tape (for the time being) but am still getting that rpm-related noise described in the earlier thread.
Something inside the CV joint itself? Possibly from losing who-knows-how-much lubricant from the boot? Or would people zero in on the wheel bearing with even more conviction?
