I must mention that use of this aluminum bracket requires a different
alternator. The VW bracket part # is: 053145515 and is only necessary if
you want to loose the weight of the cast bracket while retaining your
power steering. The alternator should be the same one from a 1985 Golf
without A/C (90 amp)
