Yeah, I understand that feeling. It's the worst living around here 
where everones parents buy them 30k plus BMW's and 
occasionally 3rd gen turbo supras for high school graduation. Lets 
also not forget 16year old kids driving e30 m3's. I'm not jealous at 
all, but I know the feeling. I don't care about the newer cleaner and 
better performing thing much, if this car would just work right and 
stop breaking I'd be happy.

I agree totally, I love this car to death when it runs right, but it's 
done that 25% of the time I've owned it. I can't tolerate this level of 
unreliability. I could just drive it into the ground and not care what 
breaks, but I can't let myself do that. Moral dillema.

Heh, who knows what it doesn't need..... at the rate things keep 
breaking it may become a permanent driveway yacht for a year or 
so until it runs again. But they've saved me tons of drama too, 
that's why I said thanks. Good luck to all of you with your 
scirocco's and may they not be complete piles of shit which refuse 
to run right and get laughed at by everyone who sees them.
