The G60 hubs, or hub carriers as I call them, will not work on a
Scirocco, they fit A2 only.
That's why you need the brackets.

You will need the caliper carriers also...
The reason that I mention this is that carriers would probably be
included with used calipers, but you can't just order new or rebuilt G60
calipers, because they won't have the carriers on them.
You can get loaded calipers, which come with the carrier and the pads,
but the last time I ordered 10.1" loaded calipers, there was a note
apologizing for not including them. :(
