Don't freak out. My clutch has always caught that high -- with an auto or
a manual adjuster.... whether it was the original clutch (at 28k, at 43k
with no visible wear when I replaced it cause the pushrod died, or now with
the new clutch at 72k).
Clutch life on a 16v tends to be quite high if you know how to drive. Ask
Daun -- he's at 185k on his original clutch and it will still do burnouts. :)
