Hey Corey, The 16v has both a chain and a belt for the cams. The belt is
what keeps the time with the pistons, which is under the timing belt
covernext to the other belts. Now, the 16v valve has two cams underneath the
valve cover. These two cams are linked together with a metal chain which
keeps the cams in time. Later man.
