Re: Cincyfest

>>Well, the cars all prepped and I took care of some last minute linkage
adjustments before the long ride to Cincy, by way of Wilmington DE. Rich
Deede was having some last minute adjustments of his own, something to do
with his oil cooler. Hopefully well be seeing the ol checkered flag
tomorrow. <<

YEah earleir this week my car began to leak oil, and my car never leaked
oil in the past. Peter found that it was my front mounted oil cooler that
was leaking yesterday and it was leaking bad.....undrivable. So we scoured
everywhere looking for a replacement oil cooler and finally Peter found
one in California at about 3pm yesterday. So I bit the bullet and bought
it and had them ship it overnight from CA to delaware(ya think I want to
go to cincy). Well the intercooler showed up this morning at 10am, that
was quick as hell, and Peter started tearing apart the car before I was
even at his house. After a few hours the new intercooler was in, my AC
condensor was gone and a leaky coolant hose was also swapped. Everything
is running well now and the new oil cooler is MASSIVE to say the
least...it's and Earl's 35 row oil cooler. IT looks like an intercooler
for a turbo car. I have to thank Peter again for all his help and hard
work to get my car back in time for the CIncy drive...he da man. And
unfortunately he messed his hand up pretty bad when it got pinced
underneath the car. See ya all tomorrow early evening in Cincy!
