RE: Audi/VW v6 transplant?
Use the VR6, it'll fit whereas the Audi V6 will not... What might be
interesting is if you did either of the following: use the 'new' VR6 with
the variable intake manifold, or, say screw it to the extra weight up front,
and use a 1.8T. I know Shine racing has one in their shop, just waiting for
a transplant (Dick Shine tried to get me to do it when I blew my tranny in
the C), and I know another local guy who is selling a 1.8T motor. BTW the
A2 1.8T that Shine built for a local racer is making 300lb-ft with just a
chip and straight exhaust... *yikes*

Subject: Audi/VW v6 transplant?
I am planning a v6 transplant for a g60 corrado later this year. I
would like know which v6 audi/vw would be the best choice. Also would
the audi v6 fit in a corrado.
