You shouldn't have an xfer pump, like you said. Have you tried
disconnecting the O2 sensor? If this was my car, I would start by
disconnecting the O2 sensor and frequency valve. If that didn't do it,
then I would replace the warm-up regulator that's bolted to the block.
Then I would do the fuel distributor. Then there would only be two things
left - the fuel pump and the fuel pressure accumulator (don't see how it
could be that, really)
