as a last resort

remove the manfold from the engine

•  Drill a small hole in the middle
• soak the stud with liquid wrench
• tap with nail punch to loosen rusted metal (gently)
• wipe excess with a rag and loosen stud with a propane torch, tap, tap, tap then extract.

works for me and while I have the manifold out- painted it with VHT exhaust manifold coating. looks very clean .....................good luck
