sorry Jan, you wouldnt understand.
everplace I go out side of NYstate, when somebody asks where Iam from, and
I say New York, almost without exception, the person assumes its the city,
and of course in most parts of the world, people from NYC are considerd a
lower form of life. Its amazing how much hostility you can find if somebody
out west thinks your from NYC, suprisingly it just isnt a US thing, Ive
been to Australia and had the same reaction.Of course once I explain that I
am not from the city, but form a differant part of the state, the reception
I get IS much better. I dont dislike NYC becouse I have had problems there,
couse I have always had a good time in the city, I just hate NYC couse of
all the hassles Ive had from others who think Iam from there.

hmm...that realy isnt very logical is it?

I should send you a copy of a local newspaper, it has a list of folks who
have been arrested in the last week (its a very small paper, comes out
weekly), 85% of them have a downstate address, and they almost always are
for crack or shoplifting.
