Dual Radiator fans...Was: Cooling issues

Well, I was thinking about this cooling issue a little more and
have come up with another thought...

During highway driving and most *normal* driving my coolant temp
guage needle rests on or slightly above the LED. However, once
the car comes to a stop, you lose the airflow from driving which
is when the radiator fan kicks in to help keep air flowing through
the radiator. This is when our cars greatly heat up and the
coolant temp needle will rise. This says to me that there is a
lack of airflow through the radiator in traffic or city driving.
It seems like the radiator cooling fan just can't quite keep up
with the rising coolant temps.
Solution: More airflow = additional cooling fan = cooler coolant
What do you all think?

Was it Brian Honnold that installed a dual radiator fan from
a passat? Whoever has done this, does a second fan help like
I think that it would?

Thanks
