WF tour 2000 (attn CDN/ NY area)

Ok its almost that time and I am attempting to get an itinerary set up for 
our annual trip to Waterfest . 
Our voyage begins in Minneapolis MN monday the 24th and will be taking us to 
NY via the northern (Canadian) route . We will be crossing into Canada in 
Windsor and continuing East to Montreal with a stop in Toronto also . Now 
with our free time we are looking to visit as many tuners during the day and 
anything else cool having to do with cars . Of course the nightlife is also a 
high priority and will not be overlooked.
There are just some things you dont or cant see in the States especially with 
the favorable exchange rate . We are also going to visit MD (I know I still 
have to call you Jonas) and the general area . 
So what I am asking is for is tips to plan our travels like great places to 
visit and things we must see and do . Any help would be appreciated from 
directions to GTA to where the best night clubs are or even where there is 
cool junkyard . Its always a whirlwind tour and this year I hope it will be 
even better with the help of my fellow list members .
