What I did to mine many years ago was to buff them. Yes, buff the wheels
with coarse grit, then fine. Most of your scratchs will be taken care of
here. Then I masked off the wheel so I could repaint the inner teardrop.
I painted them tornado red. Then I re-clearcoated the whole wheel. When
I was done they looked better than new. If anyone is interested I think
I have some pics I could email them.
