[non] rabbit p/u

  i got a really good lead on an '80 p/u, however i'm told is that the
drivers front spring perch is rusty and will need to be
repaired/replaced. is this a difficult thing to do or should i avoid
this at all costs? i can put some money into it, but most will be going
to update the scirocco. please let me know soon as i don't want this
offer to disappear. thanx.
