Need help on Bilsteins

hey u guys/gals.  i sourced a used set of bilsteins/neuspeed combo.  well, i 
went and checked them out today.  they appreared to be in good condition.  no 
sign of leaks.  pushing down on the struts was smooth and firm.  the guy's 
not sure tho if the stuts are hd or sports.  it is my understanding the 
sports were only available as inserts.  not as complete units.  and the 
springs appears to be uncut and have minor discolorations  on some of the 
coils.  will i be able to get them warranted?  the owner doesn't have the 
receipt.  i just wanna make sure i'm getting bilstein sports and neuspeed 
race.  thanx
