In addition to the thicker oil I'd replace the Hot cable from the
Battery to the Starter. Might as well increase the wire's gauge while
your at it. Recondition the other main cable contacts, and for grins and
extra credit detach the existing Starter from the engine and reseat (to
gain a good grounding through it's casing.)
The general idea is to maximize the ability of the available Amps to
course through the Starter.
