the seats from the scirocco will definately fit,
although they do sit a bit lower.  
The golf 2 dash is a sort of fit.  It will just barely
fit between the doors (it does touch the door panel
when the door is closed.  Other than that you can whip
up a few brackets and you are there.  The only other
snag is heating and ventilation.  You need to swap to
the golf heating/vent system.  It is the easiest way
to make it work IMHO.  Plus the heating system is much
better.  It is a bit of work probably a little more
than a weekend project to work out all the snags.  A
better and easier fit would be an early jetta or cab
dash much easier fit and still better looking than
that low buck rabbit stuff.
