Couple other things:

1974-1979 front springs have the large spring cap
while the 1980-1981 have the small spring cap (same as
MK2).

I just "upgraded" Kristen's '78 to the later style
front springs.

Also, 1978 & prior have manual adjust rear drums. 1979
& up are self adjusting rear brake drums.

I could go on . . . (in geeze voice "I remember when")
