FS: 84 GTI 8v Engine

For sale: '84 1.8L JH short-block, and an '85 Scirocco JH head, $200
including a new Elring headgasket, or $500 installed. This engine ran
strong, it came out of my RIP '84 GTI, which had a 120K or 150K on it. It
had several broken exhaust studs, and a lot of them were broken flush
with the head. I knew someone with a bad bottom end, and he let me swap
the '85 Scirocco head with all good studs for my head, now with  5 broken
studs. 8^)
This is currently apart and I will sell either the head or the
short-block for $100 separately.
Free delivery in the Philadelphia area, or I can ship it anywhere.
