Re: motor mount replacement
I just got done doing the front mount today. I replaced it with the TT heavy
duty one. Put the car on jack stands...and put a hydraulic jack under the
oil pan. Put a block of wood or something between the motor and jack, and
lift slightly. This will take the pressure off of the mount itself. Un-bolt
the front bracket, then the bracket that is attached to the block---via the
starter bolts. The starter bolts on my 16v use a large torx bolt....be
careful not to strip it. Assemble new mount as one piece and your cookin
wit gas.
As for the side mounts...Im waitin to find out myself!
Hope this helps
