RE: NON ROC 12 tinigs you dont say to a cop



There was an article in Car and Driver a month or two ago about the heat
tests the run in the desert, specifically Death Valley.  It seemed like it
would be a fun time to hang out and spy some new cars, if it weren't for the
heat (120F +).

This last summer I flagged down a guy in a Jetta with manufacturer plates
that was driving through town.  He was with a Polo VR6 that they were
testing
at the desert test track in Phoenix.  They would come here and run it up and
down a local mountain during the hottest part of the day.

Can you believe they actually PAY people to do that???  Made me question my
career choice!!
