Now for the brakes
Thanks for everyone's clutch responses. Maybe by next week I'll have a
non-crippled 16V... I'm just hoping I haven't done any other damage by
driving around on a lame clutch (I won't say for how long!).
Brakes:
I'm thinking I don't need to go crazy on the rear rotors, but for the fronts
I want to step up a notch or two in stopping power. (Think Los Angeles
drivers)
Stillen, Powerstop, ATE Powerdisc, what?
Or should I go with the brake supplier down the street that does their own
cross-drilling on regular Brembo rotors?
Slotted vs. cross-drilled, anyone?
And pads... fiber or semi-metallic? I a year and a half ago someone was
championing Ferodo Pads, but what do people think?
