when this was happening to me, it turned out to be the
ignition wire to the starter heating up, and not carrying
enough voltage.
I just relayed the ignition wire near the starter with a five
prong relay.  I don't remember the exact wiring, but I can show
you when you get here for the bbq!
It solved the problem immediately, and I haven't had any problems since.
