Ref that last message....hopefully that is what happened and not the worst 
case scenario that the clutch rod punched through the center plate...it can 
happen after many years of riding the clutch...I know you wouldn't do that, 
would you???  I thought not.  So in all likelihood, it's the problem I 
discussed in my last message.
