tire size - 14x6

I know that I just posted about this topic last week, but I wanted to try
and get some more feedback...just on preferred tire size for a stock 14x6
rim.  I know that 185/60/14 is the stock size, but someone mentioned that
195/55/14 would be an *ultimate* choice.  I would like to get a tire that
will perform optimally on the 14x6's (regardless of tire brand).  
Any further suggestions?  TIA!
