Well got the filter changed today. Put new oil in
and started it up. Started fine. (whew) However the problem wasn't the
filter. It is the O ring at the oil cooler. Sound familiar! 8-)
Got one on order. Seems that there has been a run
on them. Dealer and local connection where out and expecting them this
week.
Oh well Red Rocc can sit for awhile until I have
good weather and can get to it. Great thing about having a second
Rocc!!
Thanks to all who gave advise and to those that
little faith that a VW could run without oil....This is a VW not a Honda!
They make em strong!!!
