  you're talking about shaved door handles. my friend did this on his
chevy pick-up. looked really good. you could get the pieces and parts
from parts express (www.partsexpress.com , i think). i was going to do
this a while ago, however the only problem i had was how to unlock the
car if the battery died. my friend put a button under the lip on his
stepside where it couldn't be seen. the only place i could come up with
on the scirocco would be behind the karmann badge on the pillar. it has
to be out of the way b/c you cannot lock the door but you don't want
other people to see it.
