I dont mean to interject into the subject matter but, an '84 GTi with stock 
injection is not the same as a 16V roc. The GTi utilizes a CIS system. If 
the fuel system has been upgraded then nevermind.

No offense intended Eric. And I might add that the hostility towards other 
listers is not a good environment (ya ya I know what ya'll are thinkin) ;)
