Re: 16v Intermittent Engine Probs
Hey Ben,
How is your distibutor? Does it leak oil internally? This could be the
problem with the missfire and the tach tweaking out. If it leaks oil
internally then it will soak the teeny weeny wires in the hall sender
causing them to be soft and prone to shorting.
Another possible cause could be the knock sensor brain. I had a very similar
problem with my car and I swapped the brain out and it ran perfect. HTH
