UPDATE good/bad Oil pan gasket change gone very bad

Well, thankyou to everyone who has been helping me brainstorm my problem. 
After taking everyone's suggestion what I did was I retorqued all the bolts 
degreased everything, started the engine, laid down on my back and watched 
for a few minutes. What I saw really got my attention.  Logic would dictate 
that if you have a very small leak, you change the pan gasket, and now all of 
a sudden you have a really huge leak, that the pangasket was done incorrectly 
right?  Well turns out some other gasket decided to fail at the exact same 
time that I changed the pan gasket, weird huh? Naw its a Scirocco what else 
would I expect. (don't worry I still love it).  It is very hard to tell 
exactly where, some where close to the oil cooler. So where do i go from 
here? The place where it seems to be leaking appears to be impossible to get 
to.  How do I remove the oil cooler?  The two bolts that seem to hold the oil 
cooler to the engine are blocked by the oil cooler itself.  Something must 
have happened when I muscled off the old oil filter.  Special thanks goes to 
those who suggested it might be something else leaking now.
