Ok so here's the deal. the "F" in F6DTC refers to the socket size of the
plug. You are right about the heat range. This is determined by the number
"6". You could not physically FIT a W7DTC in the hole for your 16V engine
because the "W" states that the plug socket size is bigger than the "F"
type. The Bosch spark plug book recommends F6DTC for your car.
Man, these stealership guys must get complimentary crack with their job!
