SV: brake booster compatibility

Depending on year and model of 8V, if it's the same diameter it's the same function. Some models had tiny boosters. But it has nothing to do with your braking power, only the force you have to apply to the pedal.

It's the master cylinder that has that job, a smaller master cylinder can do the job but you're having better feeling with a 22mm mc

Patience and patience. If possible remove brake lines etc to have good access to the bolts on the back side.
