I had this on my '83 8v Roc, I found that it was coming from the area
underneath the windshield wiper (single wiper), the spot under the hood
(lack of tech term) I caulked the whole area around the Windshield wiper
fluid dispenser(I think that's what it was). I found that when I sprayed the
car with a hose, it would leak from that area, into the car by the pedals
and roll into the back floor. After caulking it went away, just my one
experience.
