YES! Do it. I half-assed my '97 GTI VR6, opting for ProGas over Bilsteins,
despite the fact that the difference in cost didn't even bother me - I was
afraid of a too-harsh ride. Boy was I wrong. And the ProGas started to
show wear by about 20k miles.. Bilsteins will last you forever, and if
they don't, you'll get replacements...
